I will talk about Compare and contrast two nationalities I know well.
Greek language is officially spoken in Greece and Cyprus.
In Cyprus 76% of the people speak English.
English is official language of the European Union.
English is spoken as first or second language in many countries in the world. Today it is spoken by hundreds millions of people around the world.
The Greek alphabet has 24 letters while the English alphabet has 26 letters.
Both countries have many festivals like music, food, D.Js, traditional etc.
Some festivals have similarities and differences.
Cyprus has many festivals in the summer time, because the weather is very good and beaches are beautiful. Both do big parties with Famous D.Js. In Cyprus beer festival is held for three days in one city a year, but the UK has beer festivals in different cities many times during a year.
One of the big festivals in Cyprus is Carnival.
Each city organises the are their own parties. People choose costume for the parties. In the last day each cities makes big parade
The UK has Halloween on 31 October also the people attended costume parties, tell scary stories and watch horror films.
Another similar festival in both countries is food and wine festival. In the UK (Christchurch) it starts on May for 8 days while in Cyprus it stars in the last week of August for 9 days.
The different is the UK festival began 2000 in Cyprus it was organised for the first time in 16August in Limassol.
Football is the most popular sport in the both countries. The UK and Cyprus have similar rules. The football league starts on August and finish on May. The football game play two games with each group inside and outside seat. The end of season make the title champions the first team in the high score.
The UK champions are more professional, because divided into categories, for example League Championship, League one and League two.
In Cyprus has only Champions and Cup.
Finally in both countries the most of the players are from other countries. Cyprus is the first country in the world with 72% and the UK the second with 60%.
